Congratulations to Neil Patrick Harris - he’s been nominated for a Golden Globe for - take a breath - “Best Supporting Actor in a Series, Mini-Series or Motion Picture Made for Television.”
The competition: Piven for Entourage, Blair Underwood for In Treatment, Denis Leary for Recount, and Tom Wilkinson for John Adams.
While you’re waiting for your dinner, I recommend decorating your place with paper hands and/or turkeys, watching Belly Full of Turkey and Slapsgiving, and drinking Barney’s Thanksgiving cocktail, the Thankstini.
(Dinner, of course, should include the Eriksen seven-layer salad.)
Jason Segel’s upcoming movie, I Love You, Man has had its release moved from January 16 to March 20.
The 2008 World Magic Awards, which Neil Patrick Harris hosted a while back, will air this Wednesday on MyNetworkTV. The LA Stage Blog posted a photo of Neil at the recent Ovation Awards.
Bob Saget’s new sitcom may never see the light of day now that Media Rights Capital has lost control over the CW’s Sunday night lineup.
Fun with numbers: Based on data from tvbythenumbers.com, last week HIMYM was the third most-watched half-hour comedy on network TV (behind Two and a Half Men and Worst Week). It had the second-best 18-49 numbers (behind Men, and tied with The Office) and the second-best 18-34 numbers (behind The Office, tied with 30 Rock).
Scheduling: December 1 will be a rerun of The Bracket, and a new episode, The Fight, will air on December 8. [If you don't read big spoilers, the network-issued description of the episode is here.] I would guess that since Benefits is reportedly airing in January, Little Minnesota will be moved ahead of it to air on December 15, but we won’t know for another week or so.
Josh Radnor recently appeared in the November 17 issue of People Magazine:
Video of Josh at Don’t Quit Your Night Job (thanks Ingrid!):
You can read a firsthand account of the event here.

Neil Patrick Harris is one of Entertainment Weekly’s 25 Entertainers of the Year. There’s a video interview here, and you can see scans of the article here.
Neil also hosted the Los Angeles Ovation Awards on Monday, and the Artios Awards a week before that.
Those People talk about their experience on the show here, here, and here. They’re talking about filming, so obviously, there are going to be some spoilers for 411.
Footage of NPH getting dunked on Ellen last week has finally surfaced!
Variety’s Q&A with Carter Bays and Craig Thomas has been posted. Between that and Cleveland Magazine’s interview with Carter Bays, there’s a lot of talk about how much of the show is based in real life. [There's an extension of the Cleveland interview here - to see the video, you'll have to be logged out of Facebook.]
USA Today ran a story about the mystery surrounding the mother, with some input from Josh Radnor and Craig Thomas.
Rob Owen of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette answered a question about Marshall’s wardrobe.

The soundtrack to Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog is currently only five dollars on Amazon, but I hear that’s just for today.
Audible is offering eight minutes of The Bro Code as its free listen for the week.
[What can I say? The show took a week off and so did I. A lot of you are waiting on emails right now - you'll get a response this weekend!]
Neil Patrick Harris and Jason Segel don’t want you to vote. [Thanks to Jack Attack.]
Industry business: Some information about the studio’s efforts to promote the show for local-market syndication, and an article about CBS
NPH faced the dunk tank on Ellen on Tuesday - for every celebrity dunked, Microsoft gave $10,000 to Ellen for the Cure. Other NPH things I don’t have any video or photos for: He was at the premiere of a Criss Angel/Cirque du Soleil show tonight, and apparently he dressed as a British magistrate for the Playboy Halloween party.
Neil Patrick Harris will provide the voice of the villain in the upcoming game Eat Lead: The Return of Matt Hazard. (Matt Hazard will be voiced by Will Arnett.) You can see him talk about his character here (it’s the fourteenth segment on the timeline), and he was in this promo for Game Trailers TV.
TV Guide got a quote from Carter Bays about Alyson’s pregnancy.
