Release Date: The movie wrapped in February after a 25-day shoot, but no release date has been set.
Summary: From MovieWeb – Cleon Salmon is a restaurant owner and former heavyweight boxing champion who has to pay off a $20,000 debt pronto, or he will lose his upscale restaurant, the Slammin’ Salmon. Cleon tells his hard-pressed staff that unless they make a 20 grand profit in one night, he will administer major butt-kickings all around. The waiters find themselves embroiled in a no-holds-barred contest for the highest sales – but whether Cleon will make good on his promises of a big bonus to the winner remains to be seen.
Who’s in it? Cobie Smulders plays Tara, a waitress at the restaurant. The film is a Broken Lizard project – they’re the guys behind Super Troopers and Beerfest, and in addition to putting the movie together they also star as the restaurant’s waiters. Michael Clarke Duncan stars as Cleon Salmon, and there are a lot of other familiar faces: Sendhil Ramamurthy, Vivica A. Fox, Will Forte, Morgan Fairchild, and April Bowlby all make appearances.
