Don’t you usually put this information behind a cut? :) Some may find it spoilery.
I don’t generally consider the official episode description spoilery enough to warrant a cut. Except in cases like Shelter Island, I don’t feel the need to cut information (or warn about spoilers when linking to another site) unless it goes beyond the episode’s title and official description. This is, after all, exactly what’s going to appear in any kind of “what to watch tonight” article or in the program guide on your DVR or cable box.
On the other hand, I’ve just started posting complete press releases and plan to keep on doing it, so if people think it’s spoilery enough to deserve a cut, I’m fine with that.
Coincidentally, I have been meaning to post an official policy about spoilers in the comments (mainly to keep spoilers out of the comments on non-spoiler posts), so any opinions on that are welcome as well.

it doesnt need to be behind a cut its the official description from CBS. If people don’t want to read it they can simply scroll past it.
At the same time it doesn’t hurt to just put it automatically behind a cut so that those that don’t want any information aren’t spoiled by accident. If you didn’t post the official press release I don’t know where else people would come across it without purposefully searching for it. It is kind of a spoiler. Maybe that’s just me.
