This is evident both in the photos from 410 that were posted last night and in fan encounter photos on ohnotheydidnt. [Given that those photos were taken on the 9th, this is somewhat old news, but hey - I'm on vacation, and a haircut's a haircut.]

- Scheduling: December 1 will be a rerun of The Bracket, and a new episode, The Fight, will air on December 8. [If you don't read big spoilers, the network-issued description of the episode is here.] I would guess that since Benefits is reportedly airing in January, Little Minnesota will be moved ahead of it to air on December 15, but we won’t know for another week or so.

Viewers: 9.84 million. This is a season high, and the highest viewership has been since Ten Sessions. It is also the sixth new episode in a row to have a larger audience than the previous week’s episode.
Adults 18-49: 4.3/10 (Also a season high.)
Adults 18-34: 3.7/10 (Yet another season high.)
Adults 25-54: 4.7/10
Households: 6.0/9
Compared to other networks: HIMYM fell second to DWTS in audience and households, but won its time period in 18-34 and 18-49.
Compared to other CBS comedies: HIMYM is back to improving on The Big Bang Theory’s audience, but Worst Week saw a surge in viewers, so HIMYM was third again. HIMYM was first in 18-34, second in 18-49 and 25-54, and last in households.
CBS spins it:
CBS won Monday in key demographics with its best deliveries since premiere week, led by season high ratings for HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER, according to preliminary Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Nov. 17.
HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER was first in adults 18-34 (3.7/10), tied for first in adults 18-49 (4.3/10, with ABC), second in households (6.0/09), viewers (9.84m) and adults 25-54 (4.7/10). HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER posted season highs in households, viewers, adults 18-49 and adults 18-34.
