I know there’s been some debate about how the scheduling would work out for November sweeps - October 27 will be a rerun of Sandcastles in the Sand, meaning that Happily Ever After (the last episode before the standalones kick in) will be the first episode aired during sweeps.

Also, Sarah Chalke was on the Early Show- no new information, but she does talk about the show:

And Letterman last night, where there is literally no mention of HIMYM until the last few seconds, but hey, why not:

I don’t know what the deal is with 404 stills - at this point it looks like they aren’t coming. As for these photos, if you don’t already know what 405 is about, the spoilers are huge. It’s nothing you wouldn’t see coming past the first five minutes of the episode, but you’ve been warned.

Compared to other networks: How I Met Your Mother came second to Dancing with the Stars, obviously, but did better than NBC’s Chuck, Fox’s Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, and the CW’s Gossip Girl.

Compared to other CBS comedies: Third in viewers again - this time behind Two and a Half Men (13.94m) and The Big Bang Theory (9.32m), but ahead of Worst Week (8.79m). Second in A18-49: Behind Men (5.1/12), ahead of Theory (3.6/10) and Week (3.0/7). Second in A25-54: Behind Men (6.2/13), ahead of Theory (4.3/11) and Week (3.7/8). Third in households: Behind Men (8.7/13) and Theory (6.0/9), ahead of Week (5.7/8).

CBS spins it:

HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER was second in households (5.7/08), viewers (8.98m), adults 25-54 (4.6/11) and adults 18-49 (4.0/10).  Compared to last week, HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER was up +6% in households (from 5.4/08), +7% in adults 25-54 (from 4.3/10), +8% in adults 18-49 (from 3.7/09) and added +260,000 viewers (from 8.72m, +3%).
