Because they paid the most, because HIMYM has a strong female viewership, and because Lifetime is attempting to rebrand itself, much like Bravo has in the last five years.

TBS or Comedy Central can still get it on a later date. I’m hoping TBS does, but either way, this will defintely help the show have a nice long future.
I really hope TBS gets it when the show is over, but Comedy Central would be awesome, too. (for example, they show Scrubs reruns around the clock) I love HIMYM, but…man, I can’t see myself tuning into Lifetime for the show. Thank God for DVDs.
