CBS opened the evening on a disappointing note, with should-be-addictive The Big Bang Theory at just 7.51 million viewers (#4) and a 2.9/ 8 among adults 18-49 (#2) at 8 p.m. Next was How I Met Your Mother (Viewers: #3, 8.52 million; A18-49: #2, 3.7/ 9), which built by a hefty 28 percent among adults 18-49, followed by the always reliable Two and a Half Men (Viewers: #2, 13.28 million; A18-49: #1, 4.9/12) and Rules of Engagement (Viewers: #2, 10.63 million; A18-49: #1, 4.1/10), which held a comfortable 84 percent of Two and a Half Men’s adults 18-49 rating.
Up from last week, which is great – I’d feel a ton better if we could stay above nine million, though. Maybe Harold and Kumar will help with that – next Monday should be a pretty Barney-centric episode.
