Since the spoilers have been, obviously, one of the biggest things attracting people to this site, I just wanted to make it clear that if you ever have any questions/concerns about something I’ve posted, you should feel free to leave a comment asking about it. I try to lean more heavily on details and less on my interpretation of things when I’m putting together posts, and even though I make an effort to include all the important information, if something’s not clear or if you want to hear more about a certain detail or are wondering about a character’s motives, ask away - if I’ve got more to share, I’ll tell you.
[For the record, I am not hiding anything major like "in 318, Barney and Robin elope to Vegas," but hopefully in most cases I'll be able to rephrase something or back it up in some way to make it clearer.]
Anyway, if there’s something you wanted to know - ask away!
Also, after NPH’s beheading on Ellen, she apparently got a lot of emails from concerned parents and upset kids who wanted proof that Neil hadn’t actually been killed. She addresses it in this video, starting at the 7:00 mark, by showing footage of him getting up after the trick.
Well, this should answer any lingering questions you had about the end of last night’s episode. The quality is lacking, I know, but I figured you’d all rather see a a camera recording of the TV rightthissecond than wait for a perfect one. [Once there's a better version available, I'll be posting that.] ANYWAY, ON TO IT:
CBS just put out this new promo - they say the song is by “cult indie rock band The Spectacals,” but apparently “cult indie rock band” is code for “two dudes who get paid to sing songs about CBS shows.” Anyway, if you’re looking to download the song, it’s available on their MySpace.
NPH talked to the LA Times about butlers, Doctor Horrible’s Sing Along Blog, nightlife, and aging.
For my 30th birthday party my friends threw me a treasure hunt. I was sort of kidnapped by my friends and thrown in the trunk of a car. All day I had to accomplish tasks. . . . It was the coolest day of my life.
MTV talked to Neil about the difference between Neil Patrick Harris and “Neil Patrick Harris.” Here’s the video, but definitely read the interview as well - there’s some stuff that didn’t make the video.
Variety has an article about how all the attention being paid to Jason Segel [for Forgetting Sarah Marshall] and Neil Patrick Harris [for Harold and Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay] could translate to increased audiences for the show, how network politics come into play, and the effect that all those media appearances have on the show’s production.
Segel, for example, has missed a few table reads and run-throughs, says “Mother” exec producer Carter Bays. “But the better ‘Sarah Marshall’ does, the better it is for everyone. The more people who see the movie, the more people there are who might realize, ‘Hey, I can get (Segel) every week on CBS.”‘
Well, for all of you who got here by Googling “jason segel penis,” “jason segel nude scene,” “forgetting sarah marshall penis caps,” or any of the other dozen variations, Videogum’s got you covered.
[Those of you looking for naked pictures of Josh Radnor: Still out of luck.]
