What to expect from Barney/Abby, or, more specifically, their motives: While yesterday’s reports said they’re united in their mutual hatred of Ted, it looks like Abby does a miserable job of concealing her lingering crush on Ted. Barney, meanwhile, can’t even be bothered to remember her name (he apologizes for calling out the name “Abby,” only to be told that it is her name), and wants to make Ted see “how horrible he is when he’s in a relationship.” And yes, you will have to see NPH and that woman who plays Abby making out.
On Lily’s artistic endeavors: When the gallery showing is a flop, Lily gets her work on display in a local coffee shop, where the group unsuccessfully attempts to draw attention to it, and when that fails (although Lily does succeed in inspiring a future Oscar winner), she attempts to sell her painting alongside some street vendors.
